High-Five, Ms. Bradshaw

Carrie's thoughts echo the current status of my life, or at least its aspects that really matter. (Thank you Bam for bringing me back these quotes.)

Maybe some women aren't meant to be tamed. Maybe they just need to run free till they find someone just as wild to run with them.

When you're young, your whole life is about the pursuit of fun. Then, you grow up and learn to be cautious. You could break a bone or a heart. You look before you leap and sometimes you don't leap at all because there's not always someone there to catch you. And in life, there's no safety net. When did it stop being fun and start being scary?

After all, things change, so do cities, people come into your life and they go. But it's comforting to know that the ones you love are always in your heart... and if you're very lucky, a plane ride away.

[To you who endures visual torture inflicted by Sex and the City reruns just to avoid the possibility of turning my back against you in bed, thank you. And I'm sorry that despite said selfless act I can't even return the favor and stay glued on the tube for more than five minutes (spent only on checking out them sweaty lads of course, instead of actually making an effort to understand the sport) when your beloved football is on. Please don't take it against Hornby.]
